2012-14 (Archbishop Mitty High School)
- An All-State selection during 2018, Holton appeared in 42 games for the Vaqueros. He closed his sophomore season with a .386 average, collecting 59 hits and 41 RBI.
- Holton also spent time on the bump for Santa Barabara City College, saving 11 games in 2018. He made 16 appearances, tossing 17.1 innings and striking out 16.
2015-16 (Los Gatos High School)
- A San Jose Mercury News Second Team All-Area seclection as a senior, Holton was a two-way player with the Wildcats. Jake closed his senior campaign with a .301 average at the dish and an 8-4 mark on the mound. He threw six complete games and notched two shutouts in 2016. The Wildcats MVP and team captain, Holton also earned SCVAL - DeAnza Division All League - First Team.
- During his junior season Holton hit .340, including .545 in the CCS Playoffs. He closed the season with a 9-2 record and a sterling, 1.68 ERA.
- Following the 2015 season Holton was a host of accolades, highlighted by Calhisports.com All-State Underclass Second Team.
