Men's Soccer Travels To Germany For Summer Trip

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team will embark on a two week journey to Germany for a summer foreign tour. The Bluejays depart from Omaha's Eppley Airfield on Sunday, June 30 and spend the first two weeks of July touring, training and competing in Germany.

Creighton's competition schedule includes four matches. The Bluejays will face Bahlinger SC (July 3), Freiburg SC U-23 (July 6), SV Wals-Grunau (July 9) and SV Gronig (July 12).

The team will spend time in Freiburg, Munich and Salzburg along with other stops throughout the country.

The Bluejays return to Omaha on July 13.

Photos and video from the trip will be documented and posted on Creighton Men's Soccer's social media channels.

Creighton starts fall practice during the second week of August and plays three exhibition matches, including two at Morrison Stadium, before starting the regular season in North Carolina for matches against the Tar Heels (Aug. 30) and Wake Forest (Sept. 1).

The Bluejays return seven starters from last season's squad that earned the 2018 BIG EAST Regular Season title and finished with an 11-4-3 overall record.
