OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team opened its home schedule with a 0-0 draw against Missouri State during an exhibition match on Wednesday night at Morrison Stadium.Â
The Bluejays and Bears played three 30-minute periods before competing in a penalty-kick shootout. Creighton outlasted Missouri State 5-2 during the shootout.Â
Creighton concludes its exhibition slate with a match on Saturday afternoon at Morrison Stadium against UIC. Kickoff between the Bluejays and Flames is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Head coach Johnny Torres and the Creighton men's soccer team open their regular-season schedule on Aug. 30 at North Carolina.Â
