Gabby Tremblay Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

Freshman tied for 12th place at the Islander Classic
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton University freshman Gabby Tremblay has been named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week.
The Hayward, Wis., native tied for 12th place (of 87) at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas, helping Creighton to a ninth-place showing.
The freshman shot rounds of 78 and 75 before finishing with a 73, the top round by a Bluejay and Tremblay's best round as a collegian.Â
She finished with a 54-hole score of 226. It was her third consecutive top-15 finish.
Tremblay is Creighton's second golfer this season to be honored with league honors, joining Katie Allen on September 19, 2019.
