Women's Golf to Host Big O Classic

Tourney starts Monday at Oak Hills
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's golf team will host the Big O Classic starting Monday at Oak Hills Country Club.
Monday (Oct. 13) will feature 36 holes, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday. A shotgun start opens play on Monday at 9 a.m. while teams will tee of holes No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Schools can play up to six women, with the top four performers counting towards the team score for each round. Creighton, along with Omaha and Kansas, also has multiple individuals entered.
The field consists of nine teams battling for the title, and 56 golfers overall, on the Par 72 course that will measure 6,107 yards.
Creighton's top 2025-26 performers entered in the tournament include Katharine Marshall (76.78), Julia Karmazin (77.44) and Karsen Morrison (78.56). The Bluejays are coached by Debbie Conry, who is in her 33rd season leading the women's program. She also coached the men's golf program for 12 years from 1993-2005.Â
Last year Omaha won the team title by 31 shots with a 910 total, with Nebraska individual Lauren Thiele shooting a +7 total of 223 to earn medalist honors by one shot.
