Keys To the Game on Thursday, Dec. 16
- Ball Security: South Dakota thrives on causing turnovers, while Creighton moves the basketball for the best shot. The team that can impose their strength typically wins when these two meet.
- Limiting Options: South Dakota's offense is at its best when Korngable, Lamb and Sjerven are all dangerous. The Bluejays, meanwhile, have relied on Ronsiek, Jensen, Bachelor and Maly. The victor will neutralize one or two options.
- Free Throws: Both the Bluejays and the Coyotes are getting to the line 15 times per game. Free throws and foul trouble are likely to impact the final score on Thursday.
