One out later a wild pitch sent Wegner to third and Mantle to second, allowing freshman Nolan Clifford to tie the game at 5-5 on a sacrifice fly to center.
Lipscomb answered in the bottom half, getting a two-out double from Maddux Houghton to chase Creighton's senior reliever Ben Dotzler. A pair of wild pitches from sophomore Ryan Windham put the Bison back in front 6-5, then Brian Moore's RBI double made it 7-5
