Baseball's BIG EAST Opening Series with Villanova Shortened to Three Games

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton and Villanova Baseball as well as the BIG EAST Conference have mutually agreed to reduce the league's opening series this weekend from four games to three.
The change comes as a result of an abundance of caution relative to guidance regarding the minimum number of available players recommended to compete due to Covid-19 protocols.
The series will now feature single contests each day, beginning on Friday, April 9 at 6:30 pm.
Game times for the series will be
Friday, April 9 - 6:30 pm
Saturday, April 10 - 1:00 pm
Sunday, April 11 - 12:00 pm
