Creighton Soccer Going Green
Spearheaded by sophomore Emma Yackley, the Creighton men's and women's soccer programs will be hosting Green Games on Thursday, September 30th (women's vs. Marquette at 7:00 pm) and Saturday, October 2nd (men's vs. UIC at 7:00 pm).
Both matches will be carbon neutral and zero waste, meaning the electricity consumed at the games will be offset by credits purchased by a sponsor (FCC) and all concessions will be composted or recycled.
Bins will be set out to collect gently used athletic equipment and gear. These items will be donated to CUES, an organization representing three diverse, low-income Catholic elementary schools in Omaha.
Additionally, these games will be hosting a 'Green' Club Fair spread across the two events.
The goal of these games is to promote a sustainable culture at Creighton and within our community, as well as to educate attendees about environmental stewardship.

Scott was Creighton's starting keeper in 2015, starting all 20 matches. She stopped 108 shots as a rookie for Creighton, second-most in a single season in program
history. The following season she appeared in five matches.
Scott left Creighton following the 2016 season with a 12-12-1 combined record in 2,196 minutes (2,195:45). Erin went on to Campbell University, where she also began her coaching career.
