Scouting Providence (9-9, 4-5 BIG EAST)
Providence comes to Omaha having bested Creighton in its last trip Nebraska just under one year ago.
The Friars enter the contest 9-9, having posted an overtime win (66-58) against Georgetown on Jan. 23.
Providence is just begin to run at full strength as injuries to senior post player Mary Baskerville and freshman point guard Kylee Shephard have limited the Friars.
Baskerville and Shephard have missed 16 combined games, but the duo both played in the first meeting with Creighton in Providence on Dec. 19. Creighton posted a 71-56 in Providence.
Four Friars average double figures, led by 12.9 ppg from Janai Crooms. The junior transfer also leads Providence with 9.2 rpg. Sheppard and Baskerville average 12.2 and 10.1 ppg respectively, while senior Alyssa Geary brings 11.1 ppg.

Scouting Creighton (14-5, 9-2 BE)
The Bluejays are a very difficult scout because if you focus too much on one player, others will step forward. Four
different players have led the Bluejays in scoring this season, while Creighton has had a player reach at least 20 points in eight contests.
Sophomore Emma Ronsiek sits atop the scoring chart with 15.1 ppg, but fellow sophomores Lauren Jensen and Morgan Maly have each scored 220 points this season (11.6 ppg).
The key to Creighton's attack is ball movement. The Bluejays enter Friday's contest as the NCAA leader in Assist-to-Turnovers (1.55) and rank in the top five for assists per game as well as assists.
Defensively the Bluejays hold their own the glass (36.3 rpg), limiting the opposition to just 31.8 per contest.
Keys To the Game on Friday, Jan. 28
