Women's Golf GPA Recognized by WGCA

Bluejays tied for seventh-best nationally with a 3.850 GPA
CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The Creighton women's golf team has been honored for having the seventh-best GPA in Division I, the fifth time in the last nine years that the Bluejays have been recognized.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA Awards recognize the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all of the team's student-athletes for the 2021-22 season. Creighton's 3.850 GPA made the cut inside the top-25, tying for seventh place with Marshall.
Leading Division I with a 3.961 GPA was New Mexico, while topping Division II was the University of Indianapolis with a 3.945 GPA. Benedictine University led Division III with a 3.866 average GPA and in NAIA, Mount Mercy University led the division with a GPA of 3.799.
Earlier this month, Creighton had five women recognized by the WGCA as All-American Scholars. Those Bluejay honorees included Katie Allen, Katie Berrian, Eleanor Hudepohl, Katherine Lemke and Gabby Tremblay. In addition, six women's golfers landed on the Dean's List in the spring semester, with three women owning perfect 4.00 GPA's. The Bluejays are coached by Debbie Conry.
In recent seasons, Creighton was fourth in 2014-15, fifth in 2013-14, 21st in 2015-16 and 24th in 2020-21 in the national race to top the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award.
The WGCA also announced the top 25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as the top 10 teams for NAIA. They are as follows:

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 650 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
