Eleanor Hudepohl Shares BIG EAST Golfer of the Week Honors

Sophomore won the Motor CIty Classic
NEW YORK – Creighton's Eleanor Hudepohl shared BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week honors after opening the spring season with a victory at the Motor City Classic on Feb. 7. Hudepohl split the accolade with Seton Hall's Ludovica Busetto.
Hudepohl overcame a two-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to win the Motor City Classic in Orlando, Fla. Hudepohl's one-stroke victory helped the Bluejays finish second in the team's first tournament of the spring. Hudepohl had a three-round total of 223 to top the field of 36 golfers. She opened with a 1-under 71 on Sunday and followed it with a 78 in the second round to fall into a tie for third place, before a closing 74.
This is the second time this season that Hudepohl has been honored by the BIG EAST, also earning the weekly recognition on October 5, 2022.
Marquette's Josh Robinson was named BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week.
The Creighton women return to the course Feb. 20-21 at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas.
