Softball Reschedules Matchup with Omaha For April 23

OMAHA, Neb. --Â The Creighton softball team has rescheduled its game against Omaha --Â originally scheduled for 5 p.m. tonight (April 16) --Â due to the on-going threat of severe weather in the Omaha area. The Bluejays and Mavericks will now matchup against each other on Tuesday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at the Creighton Sports Complex.Â

Creighton (25-18, 9-6 BE) will now return to action this weekend on the road for a three-game BIG EAST series at Butler. The Bluejays and Bulldogs are scheduled to open the series on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by an 11 a.m. contest on Saturday. The series will conclude on Sunday morning with a single game scheduled for 10 a.m. CT.Â
