Mogensen Earns BIG EAST Player of the Week

Omaha, Neb. -- Bluejay senior Molly Mogensen has been on a tear for some time, but her performance this week earned the Minnesota native her first BIG EAST Player of the Week honor on Monday, February 3.
During Creighton's wins at Georgetown (84-70 on January 29) and over Providence (79-66 on February 2), Mogensen led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists averaging 19.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 6.0 apg. She closed the two-game stretch shooting 16-of-22 (72.7%) from the field and 5-7 (71.4%) from beyond the arc.
Against the Hoyas she delivered 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, including 14 second half points. On Sunday versus the Friars she closed the game with 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Mogensen and the Bluejays host Seton Hall on Wednesday, February 5 at 6:00 p.m. in D.J. Sokol Arena.
