Men's Golf Hosts Bluejay Invitational on Monday & Tuesday

First home tourney in two decades.
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's golf team will host a rare home tournament when it entertains golfers from 13 schools on Monday and Tuesday for the Bluejay Invitational. The competition will be held at Shadow Ridge Country Club in West Omaha and mark CU's first home tournament in more than two decades.
Monday will feature 36 holes, followed by the final 18 holes on Monday. A shotgun start on both days is scheduled for 9 a.m.
Reigning co-BIG EAST Golfer of the Week Grant Feldman heads the Bluejay lineup after the two-time Second Team All-BIG EAST performer posted a runner-up finish last week at the season-opening Wildcat Invitational. All 10 Bluejays on the roster are scheduled to compete, including 2025 U.S. Amateur qualifier Jacob Kutner.
The Bluejays are coached by Wes Bernt, who is in his fourth season at the helm. Bernt helped CU match its best BIG EAST Championships finish ever in 2024-25 when his Bluejay team finished in third place, with then-freshman Gavin Gerch tying for third place honors individually to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
