Bluejay Senior Kiani Lockett Out Indefinitely With Knee Injury

Omaha, Neb. – Creighton guard Kiani Lockett is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season with a knee injury, head coach Jim Flanery announced on Tuesday.
One of Creighton's two fourth year seniors, Lockett appeared in each of the Bluejays' first four games. The highlight came when Lockett scored 25 points to lead Creighton to a 83-74 win at Drake on Nov. 9. She suffered the injury to her right knee late in the game with Northern Iowa on Nov. 20.
Creighton is back in action on Thursday, January 8 when the Bluejays face Marquette in a road contest on truTV.
