- Brennan appeared in 52 games in his first season at Creighton, including 42 starts.
- Murphy was named to the 2012 MVC All-Tournament Team as he was 7-for-14 (.500) with five runs scored and an RBI.
- Brennan led the Jays in bunt singles (8).
- He closed 2012 with 11 multi-hit games, including six of Creighton’s final nine contests.
- Brennan opened 2012 with a bang, collecting hits in each of the Jays’ first four games.
- Posted his first two-hit game in Creighton’s 5-1 win at Central Arkansas on Feb. 19.
- Picked up his first extra base hit as a Bluejay the ensuing game, a double in Creighton’s 3-2 loss at Portland on Feb. 24.
- Brennan was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the Jays’ 12-3 win over North Dakota on March 17.
- Murphy picked up a season-high three runs scored on a 2-for-4 day in Creighton’s 8-0 win over Indiana State on April 8.
- Brennan’s best game as a Jay may have come in the NCAA Regional as he was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Bluejays’ 7-2 win over New Mexico on June 3.
2009-11 (Butler Community College)
- Led the Grizzlies to the NJCAA Playoffs his freshman and sophomore seasons, finishing with a 31-27 overall record, 16-16 in the conference his sophomore year.
- Earned second-team all-conference honors at first base following his sophomore season.
- Led his team to a first-place finish in conference his first year on campus, finishing in the NJCAA Playoffs with a 38-19 overall record, 24-8 in conference.
- Was named first-team all-conference and second-team all-region following his freshman campaign at Butler.
2006-09 (Carl Albert High School)
- Lettered in baseball his sophomore through senior seasons at Carl Albert High School, also earning first-team all-area honors following his senior year.
- Led his team to four regional championships, as well as the Oklahoma state title his sophomore and senior seasons.
- The Titans finished state runner-up his freshman year and fifth his junior season.
- Finished high school with an overall 143-27 record (38-8 his freshman season, 36-4 his sophomore season, 32-11 his junior season and 37-4 his senior season).
- Set a school record for triples in a season with seven.
- A member of the Dean’s Honor Roll.
