- A four-year letterwinner in baseball, Granberg also earned three letters in basketball.
- A three-time All-State
- selection, Granberg guided Holy Family to Colorado state titles in both his junior and senior seasons.
- Granberg hit .440 with four home runs and 26 RBI as a junior. He came on in relief to earn the win against Eaton in the 3A state championship game.
- A four-time All-Metro League selection, Granberg hit .608 with 23 extra-base hits as a sophomore.
