Ariana Mondiri
2024 (Redshirt Senior at Creighton)
Mondiri returned to the pitch in 2024 and claimed Second Team All-BIG EAST honors after scoring a team-best five goals and delivering an assist to close the season with a team-high 11 points ... She appeared in 16 matches, starting 15 contests and accumulating 863 minutes of action ... Ariana led the Bluejays with 12 shots on goal, but was ranked third with 21 total shots ... Mondiri notched goals in back-to-back matches, providing the game-winner in Creighton’s 3-0 win over Western Michigan (Aug. 18) and again against Nebraska (Sept. 2) ... She then delivered a pair of goals in the Bluejays’ 3-1 win over DePaul (Oct. 20), before conveting on the game-winner in Creighton’s 2-1 win at Seton Hall (Oct. 24) ... Ariana’s lone assist came in the Bluejays’ 2-1 win over UConn on Oct. 6 ... Mondiri excelled in the classroom off the pitch, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
2023 (Senior at Creighton)
Ariana missed the entire 2023 season rehabbing a knee injury.
2022 (Junior at Creighton):
In her first season with the Bluejays, Ariana appeared in 18 matches and earned six starts ... She ranked tied for second on the team in goals (3) and third on the team in points (8), while dishing
out a pair of assists ... Mondiri logged a combined 767 minutes, including a season-high 67
minutes in the Bluejays’ shootout victory over Butler in the first round of the BIG EAST
Tournament on Oct. 30 ... Ariana recorded her first point at Creighton with an assist against
Gonzaga (Aug. 21) ... She tallied her first goals in a Bluejay uniform, scoring twice in the Bluejays’ 4-1 win over North Dakota (Sept. 1) ... Mondiri also delivered the game-winning goal at Seton Hall (Oct. 13), claiming a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
2020-21 (at University of Northwestern Ohio):
Ariana joined the Bluejays in the spring of 2021 after spending two seasons at the University of Northwestern Ohio, an NAIA program in Lima, Ohio ... Mondiri delivered 19 goals in 21 matches in 2021, also handing out four assists ... Five of her tallies in 2021 were game winners, helping the Racers post eight victories ... She tallied six goals and one assist in 2020, giving her 25 career goals, five assists and 55 points to earn First Team All-Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors.
International Soccer:
A forward from Evry, France, Ariana has played at the club lever for FF d’Issy-les-Moulineaux (GPSO 92 Issy) since 2018 ... She appeared in four matches during the 2020-21 in the Division II Féminine League in France.

• Graduate from Creighton in December of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is currently pursing a second bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
• Dream vacation destination is Japan.
• Named Dr. Steven Fernandes as her favorite professor at Creighton.
• Chose Creighton because of the competitive soccer the BIG EAST provides, the aggressive style of play and the size of the school.
• Favorite book is Legend of the Seeker by Terry Goodkind.
• Favorite food is acai bowls.
• In 10 years she would like to be doing research.
