• Senior center who was regrouping from off-season knee surgery and being eased back into the rotation before being injured again on Nov. 21 vs. Ole Miss.
• Tore a tendon and some ligaments in his left ankle underwent surgery on Nov. 28th, and returned to the court at Georgetown (Jan. 25).
• Had six points and a blocked shot in 10 minutes of exhibition game victory over Wayne State (Nov. 4).
• Scored 11 points in 11 minutes on 4-of-5 shooting vs. UMKC (Nov. 11).
• Contributed seven points and two rebounds in win over No. 9 Wisconsin (Nov. 15).
• Went 4-for-4 from the field and scored nine points in win over Washington State (Nov. 18).

• Also honored as South Dakota’s Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior, when he averaged 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game for team that took third-place at state.
• One of 10 players nationwide to repeat Gatorade Player of the Year honors in 2011-12 and 2012-13, joining a list that included Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Tyus Jones.
• First South Dakota player to repeat Gatorade honor since Mike Miller (1997-98) and just the third ever (also Eric Kline, 1990-91).
• Was first Pierre player to ever win the award, as well.
