Named Co-BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, becoming just the second player in BIG EAST history to earn Defensive Player of the Year recognition twice, joining DePaul’s Maranda Gutierrez (3x) ... Slashed .288/.385/.336 while being one of four Bluejays to start all 55 games ... Racked up 42 hits with three doubles, two triples and 20 RBI while ranking fourth on the team with 28 runs scored ... Paced the squad and ranked tied for third in the BIG EAST with 12 hit by pitches, a total that ranked tied for second-most in a single season in program history ... Drew 13 walks and successfully executed a BIG EAST-best 11 sacrifice bunts ... Ranked second on the team and fifth in the BIG EAST with 17 stolen bases ... Posted nine multi-hit games and three multi-RBI contests ... Ranked second in the BIG EAST with a team-high 95 assists and 97 putouts, while posting a .950 field percentage at shortstop ... Helped turn nine double plays, ranking tied for sixth-most in the BIG EAST ... Recorded her first career triple in the Bluejays’ 10-8 win over Kennesaw State (Feb. 15) ... Went 2-for-3 with a stolen base against UNLV on Feb. 28 ... Followed that by going 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI against the Rebels on March 1 ... Collected her fifth multi-hit game of the season against St. Thomas (March 24) ... Went 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in the Bluejays’ 7-0 win over Georgetown (April 4) ... Recorded a then-career-high three hits and two runs in the Jays’ 13-0 run-rule victory over Georgetown in the series finale on April 6 ... Collected a career-high four hits and drove in a career-high five runs during a 13-5 win over Butler on April 11 ... Scored two runs, including the game-winner in the Bluejays’ 6-4 win over St. John’s (April 18) ... Drove in three runs and scored two of her own while stealing a career-high three bases in a 12-5 win over DePaul on April 27 ... Her three stolen bases against DePaul were tied for the second-most in a single game in program history and the most since Danai Martin stole three bags against North Dakota in 2011, while her steal of home was the first by a Bluejay since Ella Dalton did it against South Dakota in 2023 ... Capped off her sophomore season, going 2-for-3 with a run scored in the BIG EAST Tournament Final against UConn (May 10).
2024 (Freshman at Creighton)
Became the first freshman in BIG EAST history to earn Defensive Player of the Year honors ... Was one of four Bluejays to start and play in all 58 games (all 58 starts at shortstop) during her first season at Creighton ... Guided Creighton to a school record and a top-15 nationally .977 fielding percentage, while pacing the Bluejays with 103 total assists and 80 total putouts for a .973 fielding percentage ... Boasted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 38 putouts, contributing 48 assists and five double plays during BIG EAST play ... Posted a .214 batting average, tallying 28 hits with one double, seven RBI and 16 runs scored ... Drew 13 walks and successfully converted a team-high seven sacrifice bunts ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts ... Was one of two true freshman to start the season-opener against Southern Illinois (Feb. 9), becoming just the 13th true freshman to start the season opener since joining the BIG EAST prior to the 2014 season ... Recorded the first hit and first double of her collegiate career at Texas State on Feb. 11 ... Collected her first multi-hit game of her career, going 2-for-2 in the Bluejays’ 3-2 win over Colgate on Feb. 17 ... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a 13-1 run-rule victory over Loyola (Chicago) on March 2 ... Followed with a perfect 2-for-2 showing against Illinois State (March 3) ... Went 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs scored in the Bluejays’ 11-2 win over Georgetown on March 30 ... Collected a pair of hits and scored a run against Villanova on April 5 ... Recorded a pair of singles and an RBI in win over DePaul (April 28) ... Closed out the regular season going 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored against Providence on May 4.
Wamego High School
A graduate of Wamego High School in Wamego, Kansas ... Guided her Red Raiders team to a Kansas Class 4A State Championship, earning Class 4A Player of the Year honors as a senior ... Was named an Class 4A First Team All-State infielder for the third consecutive season after posting a .551 batting average with a .608 on-base percentage ... Earned Class 4A All-State honors after guiding the Red Raiders to a 23-2 overall record and a runner-up finish at the Kansas Class 4A State Tournament as a junior ... Led her team with a .463 batting average while driving in 12 runs on eight doubles, four triples and two home runs to earn First Team All-North Central Kansas Honors ... Helped lead the Red Raiders to a Class 4A State Championship, while earning First Team Class 4A All-State as a sophomore ... Hit .471 with 33 hits, eight doubles, four triples and three home runs while garnering First Team All-Conference recognition ... Played club softball for the Aces under the direction of Ryan Taylor, Taylor Taylor, David Johnson and Jody Mitchell ... Also earned All-State honors in basketball during her first three seasons while guiding the Red Raiders to North Central Kansas District Championships and a third-place finish in the 2021-22 Kansas state basketball tournament ... Won the Kansas Class 4A Individual State Championship in golf as a junior ... Also helped guide the Red Raiders to two team Class 4A State Golf Championships and two Class 4A State Golf runner-up finishes.
