Saw action in 40 contests, making 28 starts (13 at second base, nine at first base and three at third base and as the designated play) during her first season of action with the Bluejays ... Slashed .250/.348/.375 with 20 hits, four doubles, two home runs and nine RBI ... Drew 12 walks and scored 19 runs, while posting a pair of multi-hit and multi-RBI games ... Committed just four errors in 87 chances, recording 65 putouts and 18 assists ... Made first career start, going 1-for-3 in the Bluejays' season-opening win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Feb. 7 ... Opened the year with a hit in each of her first seven appearances ... Drove in a pair of run with a double and a walk in the Bluejays' 10-0 run-rule victory over Northern Kentucky (Feb. 15) ... Recorded a season-high 11 putouts and drove in the game-winning run against Saint Mary's on March 1 ... Blasted first career home run in 6-1 win over Providence (March 8) ... Went 2-for-2 with two runs scored against Connecticut (March 28) ... Homered and drove in a career-high two runs against Omaha on April 1 ... A utility player from Cibola High School in Yuma, Arizona ... Was named to the All-Region First Team after hitting .455 with eight home runs as a senior ... Finished her junior season with a .432 batting average and a .621 slugging percentage ... Was named the 2020-2021 Yuma Sun/Yuma Rotary Club Softball Player of the Year after hitting .621 ... Prior to her junior year, Nakasawa transferred to Cibola High School from Gila Ridge High School ... While with the Hawks, she led her team to the Arizona Class 5A State playoffs after recording team-highs with 36 doubles, 12 triples and six home runs during her sophomore season ...
