2017 (Junior):
Due to an accumulation of injuries, Brekken continued to be an integral part to the team off the pitch.
2016 (Sophomore):
Fukushima did not see action during the 2016 season and decided to end her playing career due to an accumulation of injuries ... She remains part of the team, assisting with various administrative tasks.
2015 (Freshman):
Brekken appeared in three matches, seeing 10 minutes of action during the Bluejays’ opening win over South Dakota (1-0) on Aug. 21 ... She also appeared in Creighton victories over Northern Illinois (Aug. 28) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 18).
High School:
Fukushima graduated from Shattuck-St. Mary’s HS in Faribuilt, Minn. ... The Sabers do not play soccer as a high school, functioning as a club team instead ... Fukushima graduated with high honors as a student and was also active with student government as well as the orchestra.
