Felton is an elite defender who comes to Creighton after spending the past two years at South Florida. While with the Bulls, Felton appeared in 33 matches, recording one goal on six total shots in 1,206 minutes of action along the backline. Off the pitch, she excelled in the classroom earning AAC All-Academic Team honors.
"Macy is a player I have known for a long time, dating back to my days in Ohio," stated Walker. "I tried to recruit her to my previous institution, but she ended up committing to South Florida as an excellent defender in high school and club. She is a great leader out of the center back position that is a very tough, physical and aggressive athlete that can win a ball one-on-one. Felton is a fantastic human being, is highly coachable and comes from a very good family that has had success on the soccer pitch. She is a great addition to the squad and will slot in seamlessly in the spring."
Prior to joining the Bulls, Felton graduated from Strongsville High School in Ohio, where she led the Mustangs to a 70-8-6 career record. As a senior, Felton garnered Greater Cleveland Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-GCC, First Team All-Ohio and First Team All-Region honors after leading Strongsville to a 17-2-2 mark and a state runner-up finish. In addition, she earned Second Team All-GCC honors as a junior and guided the Mustangs to an Ohio State and National Championship with a perfect 21-0-0 record as a freshman.
