Paley is a talented goalkeeper who arrives in Omaha after spending two seasons at Oklahoma. The incoming sophomore will have three seasons of eligibility remaining after logging 31 total minutes of action in two appearances for the Sooners this past fall.
"Morgan is a fantastic goalkeeper that out of high school committed to Oklahoma," said head coach Jimmy Walker. "She has had a tremendous amount of success, winning a national championship with her high school club team in the ECNL. Paley is an excellent goalkeeper that is very athletic and is an elite shot stopper with great footwork. She is a fantastic human being that has great leadership potential and will slot in seamlessly into the culture we have set her at Creighton."
A McKinney, Texas native, Paley shined at the prep level, ranking as the No. 13 goalkeeper nationally and the No. 2 Texas Conference goalkeeper by TopDrawerSoccer in the class of 2024. Regarded as a 3-star prospect, Paley earned District Goalkeeper of the Year honors after guiding McKinney North to a bi-district and area championship, as well as a State Semifinal appearance as a senior when she posted 17 shutouts and a 0.44 goals against average in 27 matches.
A three-time All-District honoree, Paley played club soccer for the Solar Soccer Club where she led her club to the 2022-23 ECNL Nationals Finals and the 2021-22 ECNL Nationals Final Four. She was a three-time USYNT Identification Center participant and a North Texas First Team selection to the Olympic Development Program.
