OMAHA, Neb. - The Creighton women's tennis team had its school-record 10-game win streak snapped on Friday by Indiana State, as it fell 4-3.
Creighton's best match of the day came in doubles as Tess Reddin and Nicole Nakaoka defeated the Sycamore tandem of Elmine Botes and Sarah Meghoufel, 9-8.
In singles, Reddin lost a tight match to Meghoufel 6-3, 6-7, 6-0. At the time the teams were tied 3-3, which gave Indiana State the victory, despite having to forfeit three matches due to not having enough players.
The Bluejays will look to start a new winning streak on Saturday as it takes on Illinois State.
