
Women's Tennis Tops Fairfield, 5-0

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Creighton women's tennis squad posted its sixth straight win on Tuesday, taking a 5-0, singles-only dual against Fairfield at Star Island on Tuesday.
The Bluejays (7-4) swept through the Stags (4-3), winning all their matches in straight sets.
Tess Reddin took the victory at No. 1, posting a 6-1, 6-1 win over Dana Postupack. Anna Kirshenbaum followed suit at No. 2, with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kristin Liu.
Kelsey Schmidt and Mary Pat McMullan picked up wins at No. 4 and 6 respectively. Schmidt bested Alyssa Ruiz, 6-2, 6-3 and McMullan blanked Hannah Blau 6-0, 6-0.
The final victory came from Lauren Mastro at No. 3, who topped Meghan Sullivan, 7-5, 6-3. Lindsey Erickson did not finish her match at No. 5, as Gretchen Amberg was forced to retire, due to an injury
Creighton will be back in action tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. against St. Joseph's, as they will look to extend their winning streak to seven.
