OMAHA, Neb. - Creighton's recent trip to Europe is already paying dividends as Felix Kollmannthaler agreed to join the Bluejays this fall.
A 6'1'' defender from Germany, Kollmannthaler played club soccer for SV Darmstadt 98 (U10-U14) and most recently for Kickers Offenbach (U15 – U19). During his tenure with Kickers Offenbach, the team claimed five titles.
"Felix will be a great addition to our current squad and adds to the depth of our team," said Creighton head coach Elmar Bolowich. "He is a versatile defender who can play on the flank or central. He is a mobile player, that is technically good on the ball and could see playing time as an outside back or central defender."
Originally from Frankfurt, Kollmannthaler turned down a contract with a German U-23 Pro Club in order to play at Creighton.
