Men's Soccer Home-Opener Canceled Against San Francisco

Omaha, Neb. -- Due to inclement weather, including heavy rain and lightning, the No. 7 Creighton men's soccer home-opener against San Francisco has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled.
Tickets for tonight's match can be redeemed for any remaining regular-season home match at the Creighton Ticket Office located inside the Ryan Athletic Center (open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays).
The last Creighton home match not played on its scheduled date was a contest against South Florida scheduled for Dec. 3, 2011. The match was postponed by a blizzard.
The Bluejays return to the pitch on Friday night at No. 3 Clemson at 6 p.m.
Creighton will officially open its 2016 home schedule against crosstown rival Nebraska-Omaha on Monday, Sept. 5. Kickoff from Morrison Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
