Women's Soccer Match at Rhode Island Cancelled by Power Outage

Kingston, R.I. -- The Creighton women's soccer team is certainly experiencing new things during the current trip to Rhode Island. With the Bluejays leading 1-0 just under 20 minutes into the match on Thursday evening, the two teams were delayed and subsequently cancelled by a power outage caused by a transformer exploding.
Initially rescheduled for Friday, the two teams were unable to agree on a start time forcing the cancellation.
The Bluejays are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 18 as the Bluejays battle Yale at 11:00 am.
