The Robert L. Gradoville Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by members of the Gradoville family in memory of Robert L. Gradoville, BS'50 to offer scholarship assistance to Creighton student-athletes on the Bluejay Baseball team.
Â
During his lifetime, Bob Gradoville was an intense and loyal mentor to many young men, and an avid Creighton Bluejays fan. As a member of the Bluejay baseball team during his time at Creighton, and for his years following, Bob gave of himself as a father figure, friend and mentor to many student-athletes and coaches. He instilled his positive attitude and desire to be better upon all those whose lives he touched. This endowed scholarship serves as a lasting tribute to Bob's name and his everlasting belief in the good that is in everyone, as well as his desire to see individuals succeed.
Â
True to his spirit of giving, this scholarship offers support to student-athletes who have participated in baseball at Creighton University and whose competitiveness, on and off the field, mirror Bob Gradoville.
