Keys To the Game
- Creating/Limiting extra possessions: In the battles between the Wildcats and Bluejays, turnovers are often minimal. The Tuesday tussle is likely to be the same, but Creighton must win the turnover battle and limit Villanova's ability to grab offensive rebounds.
- Slowing the Dynamic Duo: Mary Gedaka and Madison Siegrist account for better than 63% of Villanova's offense this season. If the Bluejays can force the duo to give up the ball, Creighton will increase its chances of success.
- Hitting Open looks from Beyond the Arc: In two of the Bluejays' three losses (at South Dakota and at Arizona State), Creighton was limited to 12-of-51 (23.6%) combined from beyond the arc. In the other 10 games the Bluejays are 95-of-275 (34.5%).
