Women's Tennis Ends Home Weekend With 4-0 Victory Over Saint Louis

The Bluejays improved to 4-3 overall and 4-0 at home, while the Billikens fell to 1-5.
Kate Krueger and Sarah Wilcox started Sunday's action by cruising to a 6-1 victory at the top doubles position. Emma Gener and Gabby O'Connor combined for a 6-2 win at the No. 2 slot to clinch the doubles point.
Creighton closed the match with three straight-sets singles victories. Gener won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3, Krueger won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 and Erin Epperson sealed the dual victory with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at the No. 4 position.
The Bluejays also notched a 7-0 victory against Northern Illinois on Saturday afternoon.
"I thought the girls played some strong doubles today, and we are improving each time out, which is our top goal," head coach Tom Lilly said. "We are fighting hard in both singles and doubles, and it was great to get two wins at home once again."
Creighton returns to the courts Feb. 22 for a match in Milwaukee against Marquette.
