Bluejay Baseball's Five Players on MLB 2020 Rosters Ranks in Top 50

Omaha, Neb. -- The NCAA released earlier this week a complete list of institutions with players on the 2020 MLB Rosters (as of July 21). With five different Bluejays on that list, Creighton sat in the top-50 at 46th. The five former Bluejays on MLB rosters for 2020 were Anthony Bemboom (LA Angels), Ty Blach (Baltimore Orioles), Nicky Lopez (Kansas City Royals), Darin Ruf (San Francisco Giants) and Elliot Soto (LA Angels).
Creighton's five is the second most of any team in the BIG EAST, getting edged out by the new entry UCONN with eight. The Bluejays quartet also top local rival Nebraska (four), Wichita State (four) and equal former MVC rival Missouri State (five).
