#22 Bluejay Women's Basketball Returns to Action Against Green Bay on Thursday

Omaha, Neb. -- Holding steady this week at No. 22 in the AP Poll, Creighton Women's Basketball returns to the hardwood on Thursday, November 16th in a home game against Green Bay at 6:00 p.m.

Series with Green Bay: Creighton Leads 4-3
Creighton leads the overall series with Green Bay, 4-3. The two teams, however, last met in 1995. The Bluejays won the last two battles, claiming a 63-61 victory in Wisconsin on December 16, 1995.

and first of the season.
Creighton has been able to get off to quick starts in each of the first two contests. The Bluejays led North Dakota State 16-4 after the first quarter and held a 29-14 edge on South Dakota after one frame.
Starting Fits Brake Well
In her first two games as a starter, Mallory Brake has made an impact in differing ways. In the opener with North Dakota State Brake led Creighton with four assists and two blocks over 19 minutes. The second start saw the Minnesota native scored 10 points and grab nine rebounds, one short of her first
double-double.
Something About the Opener for Jensen
Lauren Jensen opened each of the last two seasons with a career-high 10 made field goals, dropping 30 on #23 South Dakota State last season and delivering 23 points against North Dakota State this year. Jensen went 10-for-15 against the Bison and 10-for-20 last season against the Jackrabbits.
Maly Prefers the Coyotes in Game Number Two
While Jensen has feasted in the opener, Morgan Maly enjoys the second game with South Dakota. Maly notched two of her five career double-doubles against the Coyotes in the second game of last season and again in the second game of 2023-24. This year she delivered 30 points and 10 rebounds, while last season she closed the 74-51 win on Nov. 10 (also the same day as this season) with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
