Bluejay Baseball Falls at Georgetown, 8-3

Washington, D.C. -- Limited to five hits, the Creighton Baseball team dropped the second game of its series with Georgetown 8-3 on Saturday, April 15.
The loss moved the Bluejays to 15-13 on the season and 3-2 in BIG EAST action.
Creighton fell behind 3-0 in the bottom of the third as Michael Eze launched a three-run home run to left field.
Junior Nolan Clifford answered for Creighton in the top of the fourth with a solo home run to right.
The Hoyas got the run back on a solo home run from Jake Hyde, then sophomore Nolan Sailors connected on his fourth home run of the season to make it 4-3.
Georgetown, however, pushed across two runs in the bottom of the sixth and single runs in the seventh and eighth.
Hoyas starter Andrew Williams picked up the win (3-3), holding Creighton to three runs on three hits in 5.1 innings. Bluejay starter Dominic Cancellieri took the loss (1-1), allowing six runs on seven hits over 5.1 frame.
