Women’s Tennis Closes Out Fall Schedule at Bulldog Classic

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Creighton women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Bulldog Classic with three victories to close out the fall portion of the schedule.
"This was a very good ending to a long weekend of tennis," said head coach Tom Lilly. "We have some sore bodies, but it was a good tournament to end the fall and prepare for our spring season."
In doubles play, Olivia Minikel and Ana Paula Martinez cruised to a 6-1 win over North Dakota, while sophomore Elsa Jurrens and junior Annika Elvestrom posted an identical 6-1 win in their doubles match against North Dakota.
Senior Bianca Rademacher was the only Bluejay to play in singles today, but continued her hot streak, claiming a 6-1, 6-1 win over North Dakota's Nore Heinitz.
The Bluejays will return to the courts for the dual season starting in late January.
