Final Road Trip Takes Baseball to Connecticut

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball enters the final road weekend of the 2024 season as the Bluejays are preparing to face Connecticut in a three-game set this weekend.

Series History: Creighton Trails Connecticut, 1-7
This will be the Bluejays' second trip to Storrs, dropping each of the three meetings in 2022. Creighton is 1-7 against the Huskies, earning the win in the series opening game last season.

Despite being undefeated in midweek games (11-0) and 27-4 in non-conference action, the Bluejays' struggles in conference continued at St. John's. Creighton was swept by the Red Storm, putting Creighton on the verge of missing the BIG EAST Conference Tournament for the second consecutive season.

The most recent was Teddy Deters, who was kept off the base paths in the first game of the doubleheader at St. John's on May 4. Earlier this season Nolan Sailors saw his 30 game streak snapped in the series finale at Xavier on April 14.
