Teddy Deters
2025Â (Senior)
- Teddy appeared in 56 games, including 55 starts during the 2025 season.
- He delivered multi-hit efforts in 13 contests, closing the season with a .248 average, as well as 50 hits and 33 RBI.
- Deters ended the 2025 campaign with a season-high 21 game reached base streak.
- He shared the most triples for the season with Nolan Sailors, with each recording four.
- Deters placed fifth on the team in runs scored for Creighton, totaling 43.
- In the 14-2 victory against Connecticut on April 5, Teddy had three runs scored and two RBI.
- He had another standout game on May 13 at Omaha, going 3-for-4 with six RBI in Creighton's 19-3 win.
- The outfielder hit three homers over the course of the season, with all of those games leading to a Creighton win.
- On February 5th, Deters was one of two Bluejays named to the D1Baseball's Top 100 Outfielders list.
2024Â (Junior)
- Teddy was the only Bluejay to start all 52 games, with 49 of those starts in right field and three as the designated hitter.Â
- Putting up high numbers for the Bluejays, Deters led the team in homers (10), total bases gained (112) and tied for the team lead in triples (4), while ranking second in hits (60), RBI (48) and doubles (14).Â
- Deters finished the season with a .305 batting average, the fourth-highest on the team, in 197 at bats.
- Teddy was one of just two players to have two games with five or more RBI, collecting a total of 11 multi-RBI games.
- He was second on the team with 17 multi-hit games and boasted the team's longest hitting streak at 22 straight contests.Â
- Deters blasted a pair of home runs, including a grand slam in the top of the ninth inning, to guide the Bluejays to a 6-4 victory over Nebraska on April 16.Â
- In an eventful ninth evening vs. Stanford on March 24, Deters sparked the Jays comeback by recording a pair of triples and driving in two runs in the Bluejays’ 8-2 win over the Cardinals.
2022-23 (Xavier)
- Over two seasons at Xavier, Deters appeared in 26 games with nine starts.
- During the 2023 season he hit .316 with 12 hits, two home runs and 10 RBI.Â
- Teddy was flawless in the field with 14 chances over two seasons.
2018-21 (Orono HS)
- A four-year letterwinner in both baseball and football for the Spartans, Deters was his squad’s Defensive MVP as a sophomore and named Metro West All-Conference as a senior.Â
- Deters was the Spartans starting quarterback as a junior and senior.
