"Tough day for us today against a strong UConn team," head coach Tom Lilly said. "We are injury plagued and had our top three players out today, We have a deep team and were still able to put out six able bodies despite have a total of four ladies out. We had our moments, but UConn was just too much today. Credit to Pippa for battling back to defeat one of the best players in the conference at the No. 1 singles."
