Weather Impacts Baseball Weekend Schedule

Friday Game Moved to Sunday
Omaha, Neb. -- Due to the blizzard that brought significant snow fall on Wednesday, Creighton Baseball's series with Saint Mary's College has been altered. The two teams will not play on Friday, instead playing a doubleheader on Sunday, March 23. Saturday's game has been pushed to a 3:00 pm start.
The revised three game schedule is below
Game 1: Saturday, March 22 - 3:00 pm
Game 2: Sunday, March 23 - 1:00 pm (7-inning game)
Game 3: Sunday, March 23 - 45 minutes following conclusion of game 2 (9 inning game).
Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled contest on Friday, March 21 are valid for the game on Sunday or can be exchanged by contacting the Creighton Ticket Office located inside the Ryan Athletic Center (open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays).
Series History: Creighton Leads Saint Mary's College, 2-0
The Bluejays and Gaels have played twice, with the Bluejays winning both contests. Each meeting came on a neutral field.

Before coming to Omaha, Saint Mary's hosted California on Tuesday. Entering this weekend the Gaels have dropped five of their last seven games and are 3-6 on the road.

On the mound the Bluejays have a team ERA of 4.20 with 142 strikeouts in 137 innings. Closer Garrett Langrell has converted all four of his save chances, while bullpen arm Matthew Aukerman is off to a 3-0 start.
