- Austin appeared in 11 games in his first season as a Bluejay, earning four starts and coming out of the bullpen seven times.
- Stroschein’s best outing of the season came in one of the biggest games of the year, April 12 against Nebraska. Austin limited the Huskers to two runs on two hits in 4.2 innings. Creighton went on to win the contest 4-3 with a walkoff run in the ninth.
 2015 (Johnson County Community College)
- Stroschein led the Cavaliers with 62 strikeouts and posted a 9-2 record, starting 12 games and appearing in 13. His efforts earned him Honorable Mention All-East Jayhawk Conference selection.
- Following the 2015 season Perfect Game ranked Austin the No. 48 JUCO Prospect in the country.
2014 (Des Moines Area Community College)
- Stroschein made 13 starts, leading the Bears with 73.1
- innings pitched and closed the season at 8-4.
- He tossed four complete games and led DMACC with 66 strikeouts.
2010-13 (Linn-Mar High School)
- Austin earned All-State, All-Conference, All-Metro and
- All-District honors following his junior and senior seasons.
- Stroschein went 8-1 with a 1.67 ERA in 63 innings as a
- senior and collected First Team 4A All-State honors.
- He also hit .357 with 50 hits, seven doubles and 27 RBI as a First Team All-Mississippi Valley, All-Metro and
- All-District selection.
- Stroschein made seven starts and went 5-0 on the mound in 2012.
- Austin led the Lions with 44 RBI while earning First Team
- Mississippi Valley Conference, All-Metro, All-District and Second Team All-State honors as a junior.
- He made 34 starts in the field and nine pitching
- appearances while earning a varsity letter as a sophomore.
