2012-16 (Eden Prairie High School)
- Swanson graduated from Eden Prairie HS in the spring of 2016, earning four letters as an Eagle in baseball (two), basketball and football.
- He helped Eden Prairie collect 35 victories over his junior and senior seasons.
- Swanson went 6-2 as a junior, closing the season with a 2.18 ERA and 47 strikeouts over 40 innings.
- He made an impact in his first start for Eden Prairie, notching a no-hitter against Andover on April 15th.
- Ryan was ranked as the sixth rated prospect in the Minnesota 2016 class, according to Prep Baseball Report.
- Ryan’s brother Michael is his twin.
