2008 (Senior): Named preseason All-American by NCBWA and was a preseason all-Valley pick ... Selected to Brooks Wallace Player of the Year and Roger Clemens Pitcher of the Year watch lists ... Was projected to serve as staff ace this year but did not pitch in a game after the Feb. 22 season-opener at Washington State ... Picked up the win in his only appearance of 2008, throwing five innings and allowing three runs against the Cougars ... Missed five weeks due to injury but returned to the mound for a practice session on March 31. He suffered setbacks in his rehab and missed the rest of the season ...
