2016 (Junior at Creighton)
2014-15 (Heartland Community College)
- A reserve outfielder and pinch-hitter, Hammer made the most of his at-bats with eight RBI on seven hits.
- Brennan began his Bluejay career with a bang, collecting four hits and three RBI in his first four contests.
- Creighton’s leading hitter in BIG EAST play, Hammer
- hit .429 against conference pitching.
- Hammer had a flair for the dramatic moment in conference play as each hit came in the final frame. His first knock was a pinch-hit RBI single in the ninth to ignite Creighton’s 4-3 comeback win over Butler on April 17.
- Hammer continued to come through in the clutch in the final series of the season at St. John’s. Facing Red Storm closer Thomas Hackimer, Hammer delivered a two-run
- single in the ninth to propel the Bluejays to a 6-3 win on May 19. One day later he delivered another pinch-hit RBI single in the ninth during Creighton’s 8-2 win.

- Hammer earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-Midwest Athletic Conference honors following his
- sophomore season. He hit .363 and led the Hawks in
- hits (66) and RBI (53).
- Brennan played in 40 games, including 25 starts, during his freshman year, hitting .297 with nine extra-base knocks and 22 RBI.
- A versatile player in high school, Brennan hit .305 with seven doubles, two home runs and 34 RBI at the plate. He also led the Hawks in innings pitched (67) with a 2.61 ERA and 6-2 record during his senior season.
- Hammer earned Second Team 4A All-State Honors in 2013.
- Brennan earned a spot on the First Team 4A All-State Team following his junior year after posting a 7-1 record and 2.76 ERA in 45.2 innings on the mound and hitting .348 with 10 extra-base hits and 25 RBI.
- Hammer earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District as a junior and senior.
- Brennan hit .367 with 12 doubles and 36 RBI during his sophomore year. He holds the school record for most strikeouts in one game with 13 in five innings.
