- Nicky switched to #3 prior to the 2016 season.
2015 (Sophomore at Creighton)
- Lopez moved from third base to shortstop and started 43 games for the Bluejays.
- Nicky led the team in triples (6) and sacrifice bunts (10).
- He started the 2015 season 5-for-12 (.417) with four runs scored and three against CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 13-15).
- Lopez went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored while recording seven assists on defense on Feb. 15.
- Nicky had two RBI from two sacrifice flies on March 11 against Kansas State.
- Lopez went 3-for-6 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored against Utah Valley on March 15.
- He finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and one stolen base against Nebraska-Omaha on April 21.
- On May 14 Nicky went 3-for-6 with two runs scored, one triple and one RBI against Villanova.
- Lopez closed the BIG EAST regular season going 6-for-13 with four runs scored, two RBI and two stolen bases and one triple in three games against Villanova (May 14-16).
- In Creighton’s BIG EAST Tournament opener Lopez finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one triple and an RBI. His efforts earned the Illinois native a spot on the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
2014 (Freshman at Creighton)
- Getting a start in the second game of the season, Nicky refused to let go of third with 44 starts in 48 games.
- Nicky was 4-for-8 with two RBI in the Bluejays series at Charlotte (Feb. 28 - March 2).
- He was 2-for-5 with an RBI in Creighton’s 10-2 win at Central Arkansas on March 11.
- Lopez delivered two hits in four at-bats against Nebraska on March 19.
- Nicky followed his performance at Nebraska with another 2-for-4 showing against Fresno State on March 21.
- Lopez scored a run in each of Creighton’s three victories over Georgetown (April 11-12).
- Nicky had his best day as a Bluejay, rapping out three hits including a double at Villanova on April 18. He finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
- Lopez became the first Bluejay since 2011 to steal home as he nabbed the plate in the third inning of Creighton’s 8-1 win over Butler on April 25.
- Nicky was 3-for-4 with an RBI in Creighton’s 4-3 win over Seton Hall in 10 innings on May 3.
- Lopez was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in the Bluejays’ 13-11 win at St. John’s on May 11.
- He was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a stolen base in Creighton’s 10-8 win over Stephen F. Austin on May 13.
- Nicky was 3-for-4, delivering the game-winning RBI, in the Bluejays’ 12-inning 7-6 win at Xavier on May 17 to claim the BIG EAST regular season championship.

- Lopez captured five combined letters in baseball (three) and basketball (two).
- He earned both All-DuPage Valley and academic all-conference recognition in 2012 and 2013.
- Nicky closed 2013 with a .398 average, delivering 35 hits (including 10 for extra bases).
- He appeared in 40 games for Naperville Central in 2012, leading the RedHawks to the Super Sectionals. Â
- Lopez shined in conference play, posting a .379 batting average with nine stolen bases.
