2024 (Sophomore at Creighton)
Slashed .326/.429/.363 with 10 doubles, three home runs and 26 RBI, while being one of four Bluejays to start all 58 games (44 at catcher and 14 as the designated player) for the Bluejays ... Racked up 60 total hits, joining Cayla Nielsen as the first Bluejay to record at least 58 hits in back-to-back seasons since Melanie Dorsey collected 70 hits in both the 2004 and 2005 seasons ... West and Nielsen also teamed up with Madeline Vejvoda to become the second Bluejay trio in program history to each record 60 or more hits in a single-season ... Scored a team-high tying 32 runs, while posting a team-best nine successful sacrifice hits (four sacrifice flies, five sacrifice bunts) ... Collected 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI contests ... Recorded a team-high 214 putouts and 15 assists, while committing just one error for a team-best .996 fielding percentage ... Went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in win over Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 16) ... Drove in three runs on three hits, including a double, while scoring two runs of her own in the Bluejays' 13-1 run-rule victory over Loyola (Chicago) on March 2 ... Followed that performance with by recording a career-high four hits and four runs scored while driving in three runs in the win over St. Thomas (March 2) ... West's four runs scored were tied for the second-most runs scored in a single game in school history ... Opened BIG EAST play with a pair of hits and a run scored against St. John's on March 8 ... Started an eight-game hit streak, blasting her first home run of the season in the Bluejays' 8-0 shutout win over Georgetown on March 28 ... Drove in another three runs and scored two of her own on two hits, including a double against the Hoyas on March 29 ... Went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run against South Dakota (April 9) ... Recorded the 100th hit of her Bluejay career with a double to left at UConn on April 13 ... Became just the eighth Bluejay in program history to record 100 career hits during their sophomore season ... Raced out three singles and scored a run in an 11-8 extra-inning win over Butler on April 20 ... Earned BIG EAST Player of the Week honors on April 30 after hitting .538 (7-of-13) and recording a .846 slugging percentage on a double, home run, five RBI, two walks and four runs scored in four games against Omaha and DePaul ... Delivered a pair of hits, recording an RBI and a run scored against Omaha (April 23) ... Followed with a 2-for-4 showing with another RBI and run in a win over DePaul on April 27, before driving in three runs on two hits, including a double and home run in the Bluejays' 8-1 win over DePaul in the series finale on April 28 ... Closed the season with a pair of base knocks in the Bluejays' 10-6 win over UConn in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals (May 10) ... Ranks tied for eighth all-time with a .331 (117-of-354) career batting average.
2023 (Freshman at Creighton)
Was one of two Bluejays to start and play in all 53 games (52 at catcher and one as designated player) during her first season at Creighton ... Ranked second on the team with a .335 batting average ... Recorded 58 hits, the third most hits in a single season by a freshman in program history ... Ranked tied for third on the team with 10 doubles and fourth with 26 runs scored ... Paced the team with eight sacrifice bunts and was second on the team with three sacrifice flies ... recorded 15 multi-hit games, including a team-high seven three-hit contests ... Her 15 multi-hit games were also the second most by a freshman in the last 20 years ... Committed just two errors in a team-high 293 chances, recording a team-best 271 putouts ... Was one of three true freshman to start the season-opener against Detroit Mercy (Feb. 11), tallying the first hit of her collegiate career ... Earned a spot on the UTEP Invitational All-Tournament Team after finishing the weekend with a .267 average on four hits, four RBI, four runs scored and three walks ... Drove in a season-high three runs and scored two runs on a season-high three hits at UTEP on Feb. 25 ... Reached base in 13 straight games from March 7 - March 29 ... Followed that performance with a 3-for-4 showing with a double and two runs scored in an 8-0 win over Kansas City (March 15) ... Hit first career home run in second game of a doubleheader against Kansas City on March 15 ... Recorded multiple hits in five straight contests from March 17-March 25, including a season-high tying three hits against Omaha on March 22 ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored in a 9-1 win over Butler (April 2) ... Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after hitting .381 with four runs scored, three RBI and two doubles in a trio of wins over South Dakota and Providence on May 1 ... Went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a 7-1 win over South Dakota on April 25 ... Hit two doubles and drove in two runs and scored two herself in a 7-0 victory over Providence on April 29.
Choctaw High School
Ranked 86th in the Class of 2022 by Extra Inning Softball ... Led her team to four straight Big 8 Conference championship and three consecutive Class 6A state tournament appearance, including a runner-up finish in 2022 ... A four-time all-conference performer, earned OSSAA First Team All-State honors after leading the Yellowjackets in batting average (.468), slugging (.575), on-base percentage (.501) and RBI’s (32) as a senior ... Named the Big 8 Defensive Player of the Year as a junior, while also generating Class 5A/6A Large West All-Region and All-State honors as a catcher ... Named the Big 8 and Class 6A All-District Offensive Player of the Year during her sophomore campaign ... Played travel ball for the Oklahoma Angels ‘04 and most recently helped her team to a third-place finish at the USA Elite Select WFC ... A member of the National Honor Society and has helped her team to two Class 6A Academic State Championships.
