Biser joined Creighton Rowing in the spring of 2018 as a volunteer. Now he enters his first year as an assistant coach in 2018-2019 season.
Jamie rowed for Rochester Institute of Technology for three years between 1998-2001. A member of both Varsity and Novice boats during his first year, Biser rowed in the men’s varsity heavyweight eight and placed third in New York State Championship. Â
Following the NY State Championship, he rowed in the freshman/novice heavyweight eight and placed second in the prestige Dad Vail regatta in 1999. In his last year, he placed second in the Head of the Genesee Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. and also participated in the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston.Â
Upon entering college, he discovered the sport of rowing and quickly became hooked. Jamie is thrilled to be back around the sport of rowing as an assistant coach.
Jamie is a former Doctor of Chiropractic graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After 12 years in the chiropractic field, he worked at a Pastor of Deaf Ministries in Salem, Oregon. After three years as a Pastor, his family moved to Omaha area and Jamie is currently changing his career into the construction field.
His wife, Rachel, works at Deaf Missions as a Communications Assistant. They live in Bellevue and have two children, Marshall and Gemma.
