Bluejays Begin Busy Weekend With Setback at Big Ten Opponent Nebraska

Bluejays to visit Drake on Saturday
LINCOLN, Neb. - Beginning a stretch of three matches in three days, Creighton Women's Tennis fell to Big Ten opponent, Nebraska, 6-1, on Friday at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln, Neb.
The Bluejays (0-2) were unable to hand the Cornhuskers (4-0) their first loss of the season, as Nebraska advanced to 4-0 with the victory.
Nebraska opened play by earning the doubles point with wins at the second and third positions before clinching the match in singles play.
Finding the win column for the Bluejays was senior Sam Anderson, who came from behind to defeat Nebrask'a Sydney Harlow, 4-6, 6-2, 10-8, at No. 5 Singles.
Creighton will visit Drake on Saturday, with the match beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Bluejays will remain in Des Moines, Iowa to take on Wisconsin-Green Bay on Sunday in neutral-site action beginning at 8:00 a.m.
