Scouting No. 14 Creighton (4-1-1)
The Bluejays finished last week 2-0-0 to extend its win-steak to three.
Creighton opened the conference schedule with a come-from-behind 4-1 victory during Saturday's homecoming match against Seton Hall.
After starting the season with only three goals through three matches, the Bluejays have outscored their opponents 10-1 over the past three contests.
Creighton ranks second in Division I with 18.83 shots per game.
Riggs Lennon leads the team with four goals, and ranks fourth in the nation with 4.83 shots per game.
Alex Kapp has three shutouts and has a .880 save percentage (6th in Division I) with 22 stops.
Creighton returned five starters and 10 letterwinners from last year's squad that ended the season in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament and led the country with 19 wins. Â
Scouting No. 8 Denver (7-0-1)
The Pioneers enter Wednesday's match with a seven-match winning streak and have not lost a regular season contest since the 2014 season.
Blake Elder lifted Denver to a 1-0 victory over North Florida on Saturday with a goal during the 87th minute to keep the streak in tact.
Elder has scored a goal in each of the last for matches, the first player to do so in the Pioneers' Division I history. He leads the team with four goals, while Alex Underwood and Kortne Ford each have three.
Denver's last loss during the regular season was against IUPUI on Oct. 31, 2014.
The Pioneers returned nine starters from last year's team that finished 15-1-3 with a 1-0 loss to SMU in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Head coach Jamie Franks is 22-1-4 while coaching his second season at Denver.

Following his three-goal performance last week, Riggs Lennon earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Division I Men's Team of the Week (Sept. 12-18).
The senior scored the final goal during Creighton's 3-0 shutout of UMKC before converting a pair of penalty kicks on Saturday against Seton Hall.
Lennon and goalkeeper Alex Kapp also earned spots on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Creighton's Conference Opener Success
The Bluejays are a perfect 4-0 in BIG EAST regular-season openers following their victory over Seton Hall on Saturday.
Creighton's last regular season conference-opener loss occured during the 2011 season at Missouri State as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, and the last conference home-opener loss occured in 2009, also to Missouri State.
The Bluejays are 10-2-2 in conference home-openers at Morrison Stadium and 22-2-2 all-time.
Everybody Takes A Shot
The Bluejays tallied a season-high 29 shots, including 12 on goal, during Creighton's 3-0 win against UMKC (Sept. 13).
10 different Bluejays recorded at least one shot.
Creighton's shot total against UMKC was the most by the team since it posted 39 against Villanova last season (Oct. 24).
The Bluejays rank second in Division I with 18.83 shots per game, trailing only Central Arkansas (19.0)
Forward Attack
Through the first four matches, only one of Creighton's six goals had been scored by a foward. That changed last week as all seven goals of the Bluejays' goals against UMKC and Seton Hall came from forwards (Myles Englis, Ricky Lopez-Espin and Riggs Lennon).
Offensive Outburst
Creighton was held to three goals through the first three contests of 2016, but have outscored its opponents 10-1 in the past three matches.
The Bluejays shut out Penn and UMKC 3-0 before defeating Seton Hall 4-1. Â
Three Is The Magic Number
Creighton is 3-0-0 this season when scoring three or more goals.
The Bluejays have won their last 36 matches when scoring three or more goals, dating back to a 3-3 tie against Drake on Nov. 7, 2009.

Kapp On Goal
Senior Alex Kapp notched his third shutout as a Bluejay on Sept. 13 against UMKC. He had two clean sheets all of last season in 10 starts at Boston College.
Kapp now has 10 career shutouts through 41 career starts in goal.
He also has 22 saves through five matches this season, while allowing three goals in 560 minutes of action.
The senior did not allow a goal in 286 minutes and 33 seconds; a span that streched from the 13th minute of Creighton's match against UNO (Sept. 5) to the 10th minute of Saturday's contest against Seton Hall.
Two-Goal Match
Joel Rydstrand's two-goal performance on Sept. 9 was the first multi-goal performance for a Bluejay since Ricky Lopez-Espin scored a pair of goals against Drake during the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament at Morrison Stadium.
Riggs Lennon also notched a two-goal match on Saturday against Seton Hall (Sept. 17) with a pair of penalty kicks.
Creighton had three multi-goal performances last season (Fabian Herbers [9/6], Ricardo Perez [10/24], Ricky Lopez-Espin [11/22]).
Prescott Doubles Career Goal Total
Sophomore defender Peter Prescott scored a goal against Penn (Sept. 9) for his second career goal.
He also scored last season against Villanova (Oct. 24).
Prescott's goal this season was his first game-winning score as a Bluejay.

Noah Franke leads the Bluejays with three assists. Â
